All Ballard County schools now are qualified under the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Community Eligibilty Provision. All of our schools will participate, which means ALL students at ALL schools may receive free breakfast and lunch each day.
However, it is extremely important that ALL families complete a Household Income Form application (link below), regardless of income level.
Please see the "Letter to Households" in the Code of Behavioral Expectations for a better explanation of these procedures.Instructions also are provided there for completing the applications.
For the program to work, Student Nutrition Director Amber Hayes is encouraging all students to use their school's new "grab and go" breakfast option. All students arriving at school on time will be able to grab a hot breakfast and spend time with their friends before the school day begins.
For more information, please contact school nutrition director Amber Hayes at 665-8400, ext. 2530, or email email@example.com
